As I sit here at my desk enjoying a piece of watermelon, I can't help but say. "I sure am glad it's SUMMERTIME!!!" We have the Breckenridge AC on today...the front AND back doors are open. With the daily highs in the 70's, Breckenridge is the perfect escape from the heat and humidity. The plants and trees are so lush this year with all of our rain, and the flowers are in full bloom.

The month of July brings a variety of events to Breckenridge. We have concerts put on by the National Repertory Orchestra and the Breckenridge Music Festival, mountain bike races, trail running races, art shows, LIVE children's theater, and the list goes on! Pack a rain jacket because the thunderstorms can roll in at any time. Oh and don't forget the sunscreen for outdoor activities. Being at 9,600' means that the sun is more intense, and you will burn faster.
